  • At the Gabelli School of Business program n London, you will learn business in a European commercial capital while fulfilling your core and major requirements. You will learn from British executives and professors and take your learning outside of the classroom by visiting the headquarters of various U.K. businesses. Past business visits have included Aston Martin and the Chelsea Football Club.

  • Fordham London offers the opportunity to enroll in for-credit internships in partnership with local companies and organizations in a Fall, Spring, or Summer term. Students intern concurrently while taking classes, and are enrolled in a required internship seminar. Internships are available in a variety of fields including fashion, consulting, non-profit management, environmental consulting, law, and politics. Students also have the opportunity to source their own internships, subject to approval by Fordham London.

  • Fordham's London Centre is located in the Borough of Camden in Central London, in a neighborhood called Clerkenwell. Clerkenwell is known for its design and creativity - serving as home to many design and architectural firms. Surrounding Fordham London, you'll find a daily street market on Leather Lane, and pedestrian friendly Exmouth Market, lined with cafes and restaurants. 

    The United Kingdom—England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland—is a diverse place full of contrasts, featuring a wide range of landscapes and cultures. London, the largest city in Europe, is a bustling cosmopolitan center of astonishing variety and interest that a visitor could explore for months without turning over every stone. The other regions of the U.K. are fascinating for their own reasons, each with a unique personality and history.

    While based at Fordham London, students may choose to venture from Cornwall in the far west to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in the north. Cities such as Edinburgh, York, Durham, Chester, and Canterbury are reachable by an excellent rail network, as are areas of great natural beauty, such as the Lake District, the New Forest, and North Wales. 

  • Students are housed in shared student residences in residential areas in Central London (Zone 1 or 2), which offer easy commutes, by foot or public transport, to the London Centre. The student apartments offer bedrooms with shared living spaces including a kitchen and living room.  Read more about living in London.

  • The London experience begins with a comprehensive orientation that acquaints students with health, housing, travel, academic, and safety information. Program costs typically include co-curricular activities in and around the city of London and one long weekend visit to another European country.

  • The Fall semester runs from approximately the end of August through mid-December, and the Spring semester runs from approximately the beginning of January through the beginning of May.
